The East Wolf Valley Water System Improvement Project is slated to begin in June. This project will consist of approximately 11,500 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron pipe. This waterline replacement project is targeting a section of PVC waterline on East Wolf Valley drive that is failing due to age. The existing waterline running along Wolf Valley Road is under the edge of the pavement. Each time the existing line breaks, the road is damaged and asphalt repairs are becoming costly. Breaks along this section have become more significant over the past two years. The cost of this project is $1.8 million. The Contractor is Precision Construction Solutions, Inc. #CommittedToExcellence #HPUDBillAtWork

Recently, our team spent the day removing litter from a section of Beaver Creek as part of the Adopt A Stream program with Keep Knoxville Beautiful. Protecting our waterways goes beyond treatment plants and infrastructure- it also means helping keep litter and pollution out of the streams that flow through our community every day. We’re proud to support efforts that help keep our community and environment clean.
